Adam & Eve, 
on the Prague Sculpture Line 
installation art series

This installation is a symbolic reference to the origins of mankind, when man, using his conscious ability and reason, separated himself from the animal kingdom. 

Some of the book covers read :

Xenophobie
Oligarchy
Populism
Dogmatismus
Nacionalismus
etc.

Craftsmen

like these two, can be seen all over Prague

replacing cobblestones on the sidewalks

Memorial to 
Jan Palach and Jan Zajic
1969
Both young men burned themselves on this very spot 
in resistance to the Soviet occupation of Czehcoslovakia.

Artist/Sculpture Václav Cílek says, 
"It is not heroic. It is just a private reminder"

Exposition 1958 

Brussels, Belgium

100 meters (328 feet) tall

with an elevator to take you to the top. 

This exhibit, which was created by Czechoslovakia, 

now Czech Republic

 still exists in Brussels today

ATOMIUM 
depicts the atom of Iron

This part of the exhibit, 

the entrance hall, was later disassembled and 

returned to Prague, Czech Republic.

It now houses an advertising agency in

Letna Park, Prague

There are several 

Old Jewish Cemeteries

around Prague, some from the 15th Century. 

Sadly, too many of the dates of death, 1933-1945,

reflect the atrocicites of WWII

was closed during our stay,

Give yourself a day to simply embark upon a walk with no particular destination.  

    Concentrate on 

Seeing, Not just Looking 

    Listening, Not just Hearing

Along the way, grab a coffee or a glass of wine, breathe, and then later reflect on your day. You might be surprised at how enjoyable this alternative approach differs from a typical day!
