Roger is still having trouble with this
"LOOK LEFT" & "LOOK RIGHT"
concept, he almost got slammed twice by an oncoming car. Luckily the locals know that tourists have a tendency to dart in front of their cars, so they slam on the brakes while politely sounding the horn
This is what Ron does when Roger starts crossing the street

The cotton industry and making cotton fabrics
Cotton threads being made from raw cotton
Of course, even these English industries came with the need for
low wage workers, however, their conditions didn't match the abhorrent treatment of slaves who picked cotton in the USA

Travel Tips:
*Time Zones: If your phone is set up to automatically change time zones (good thing for knowing the correct time). The phone will capture the time of the Zone where you are currently located.
HOWEVER, be careful when entering times and dates in your Smart Phone schedule that will occur later when you are in a different time zone. On your arrival to a different time zone your phone will adjust the times that you previously entered to the new time zone and thus they will be incorrect in relation to the original entry. Complicated, Right?
Thus, if your scheduled event occurs in a different time zone, you could miss your flight or an important event because the phone scheduled event has changed
Just to be safe, DO NOT enter an actual time, but rather add the correct time to the header when you enter the event. When you arrive at the new time zone location, you can then add the "time slot" on your calendar.

*Buses and Local Trams/Trains: Try to figure out the local buses, trains and trams early on arrival into new cities, it can save you lots of money and anxiety. A few minutes of research is worth it to save losing time and money throughout your visit. Look for local Apps and Brochures.
*Cash Machines: I may have covered this in a a previous blog, but it is worth repeating. Especially in the UK, it is important to note that if you get Pounds from the cash machine in Scotland, you will get Scottish Pounds. These Pounds may not be accepted in other parts of the UK even though they do have the same value. Regardless of where you are traveling, be sure that the cash machine is issuing the currency that you desire.
