MAVERICK ROVER WORLD Blog Post #82 PARIS, France Paris Metro Definitely a life saver since we are convinced that we probably spent 20% of our time underground in the massive metro system traveling in and around Paris. This is not a complaint because there was so much that we experienced. Getting around Paris on the Metro is vey easy. All you need to do is purchase a Metro card for 2€ (Euros) at most subway stations, and then you can load the card with as many rides as you like. The card can be reloaded at anytime. You simply tap in with your card at the entry for the ride of your choice. The cost is about 2€ per one way ride, as long as you keep going in the same direction you never pay again no matter how many transfers you take. Then your return will be another 2€, and so on. While they all cross the same river, there has been a divide for many years, west siders liked their side better and east siders liked their side better.
