With respect to destinations, our goal is to retrace our tracks as seldom as possible, so that we can open new doors and meet new people around the globe while experiencing history, art, music and cuisine in various cultures.  Morning: begins with no alarm clock other than a local rooster, a dog or maybe the sound of an early riser's music. "It's not a vacation,  it's a lifestyle" Post #41 January 12, 2019 * MEXICO (weeks 1-8   Puerto Vallarta) (weeks 9-12   Merida, Yucatan) (week 13   Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo) * Playa del Carmen * A little 3 day side trip to  Playa del Carmen Just so you know,  this travel thing comes with a few challenges.  Oh, I guess we mentioned that in the last post, right? One more side trip one more challenge. 😥 This time we bought roundtrip bus tickets to Playa del Carmen in person at the Centro Station in Merida, assuming our bus would leave from that station and chose a time to leave.  Upon arrival on the day of departure, we were informed that our bus would leave from a different station 30 minutes away by Uber and we would not have time to get there so,  we purchased an add-on ticket and waited for an extra hour for the next bus.
