View from the rear garden at the Chester Cathedral This photo at Chester Cathedral says it all  I'm still reading "Pillars of the Earth"  by Ken Follett Guess I better hurry, as we are about to leave England. It's about building a cathedral in the fictional  town of Kingsbridge, ENG, and it is almost 1000 pages * Schropshire Union Canal is where we met Phil and Clare who have owned a canal boat for 17 years and have lived on this one full time for the past 9 years. MAVERICK ROVER WORLD Post #23 August 25, 2018 * LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND * St Mark's Square in Liverpool under water (just kidding) Actually it is an inlet at the port off the   River Mersey Remember Ferry Cross the Mersey by Gerry and the Pacemakers If you look very carefully you can see the  Ferry Across the Mersey * Liverpool is all about art The Tate Modern North in Liverpool is a part of the larger Tate in London This year throughout the city there are exhibits for the Liverpool Biennial  These two pieces caught our eye, the feather headdress is really soles and insoles of athletic shoes. Artist Brian Jungen's Warrior 1,  depicts Cheyenne-style war bonnets.
